For easy handling and cleaning, the food hopper, as well as the extra bowl and tray, are removable. The transparent window, which serves for a better overview of the food level, is made of plastic. The Petwant feeder has a USB charging cable; in case of a power outage, a backup battery power source can be used: 3x D batteries (batteries are not included).
